Privacy & your data

This page says what we store when you use the audit, where it lives, and how to make us delete it. Plain English, no legal wallpaper.

Worth saying up front: you enter an email address to see your full findings, so you will have given us one before you see them. That is the trade, and everything below is what happens to it afterwards.

Who’s responsible

The data controller is [CONTROLLER NAME: LOUIS TO CONFIRM]. For anything about your data, contact [DATA CONTACT ADDRESS: LOUIS TO CONFIRM].

What we store

Nothing on that list comes from anywhere but the form you filled in. We don’t look your business up, buy data about it, or add anything you didn’t tell us.

We never save your IP address alongside your answers, and we don’t track you across other sites. Your IP is held in memory for up to an hour, and only to stop the form being hammered. It is never written to storage and never linked to your audit.

Where it lives

It lives on our hosting provider’s storage (Vercel). Once you have seen your findings, it also lives in the mailbox that sends and receives those emails.

When an audit is finished we also send ourselves a copy (your business name, industry, score, the gaps your answers pointed to, and your email address and phone number if you gave them) by email and as a phone notification, so we can pick it up. If you stopped before entering an email, that copy has no way to reach you in it.

What we use it for

Seeing your findings is not consent to be marketed to. The address you type and the consent box are deliberately two separate things: the first gets you your results, the second is the only thing that lets us contact you again, and it is never ticked for you. Your phone number sits under the same rule: no consent means no call and no text, exactly as it means no email.

How long we keep it

If you answered the questions and left without entering an email, what we hold is a business name and ten answers with no way to reach you, and we don’t try to work out who you are from them. Once you have entered one, we keep your record until you ask us to remove it or until it’s clearly no longer needed.

Deleting your data

Email [DATA CONTACT ADDRESS: LOUIS TO CONFIRM] and ask. We’ll delete your record and confirm it’s done. If you’ve told us to stop contacting you, that stands permanently: we keep the minimum needed to make sure we never contact you again.
